In the heart of Amsterdam, AÉBI opens its doors to a select group of advanced, pre-professional, and professional dancers aged 14+, from privately trained talent to full-time conservatory and academy students, including those preparing for auditions for schools and companies, welcoming them into a refined, high-level winter experience.
You step into the studio. The pianist begins. And something in the air tells you immediately that this room is different. Dancers who train full-time. Dancers preparing for auditions. Dancers already performing. You feel yourself rising to meet that level, naturally and instinctively, because the space invites you to.
The ArtéBallét Advanced Winter Intensive is designed for dancers who want depth, clarity, and real guidance. Not louder corrections or faster combinations, but training that sharpens your technique, strengthens your artistry and supports the dancer you are becoming.
The work is focused, the atmosphere is warm and the attention you receive is personal. You are not one face in a large class. You are seen, supported and coached with intention.
You train under the guidance of principal dancers, artistic directors, ballet masters, and choreographers who have shaped dancers at Dutch National Ballet, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Royal Ballet School, the Vaganova Academy, Prix de Lausanne, YAGP, and Ballett Dortmund. Their coaching is clear, honest, and rooted in experience, delivered with humanity and genuine care.
Your schedule includes advanced ballet technique, classical variations and repertoire, and contemporary technique and repertoire.
If you are a vocational student, this is where you deepen your foundation. If you are a trainee or pre-professional, this is where you refine, strengthen and gain clarity. If you are already performing, this is where you reconnect to your craft with space and support.
What our dancers value most is the rare combination of serious training and genuine warmth: a place where you can work with focus, take risks without fear and grow without comparison.
You may personalise your experience with private coaching or schedule a professional photoshoot for auditions or company applications. The program concludes with an intimate informal studio presentation, a moment to step into repertoire with confidence and artistic presence.

The Advanced/Pre-Professional Program is open to dancers who train full-time or privately at an advanced level, prepare for auditions or schools, or are already performing. Each application is reviewed with careful attention.
Only a limited number of advanced dancers are admitted each year to ensure a personalized training environment with individualized coaching.
We strongly recommend early application, as places may fill before the final deadline.

We are excited to invite you to our selection process for the ArtéBallét Winter Intensive (AÉBI). To ensure your application reflects your dedication and artistry, please follow the guidelines and checklist below carefully.

Yes, selection is required for the Advanced/Pre-Professional Program.
All applicants must submit two dance photos or their choice along with their application form. Selection is not required for our Intermediate Program.

The deadline to submit materials is December 1, 2025.
Early submission is strongly recommended, as spaces may fill before the final deadline. -
Open to advanced, pre-professional, and professional dancers training towards or already performing at a professional standard. Admission is selective and intended for dancers enrolled in vocational, conservatory, or equivalent professional programs, as well as those training privately at an advanced level with the aim of entering the professional field, and for current professionals and teachers seeking further refinement.

Dancers aged 14 and older are welcome to audition.
Placement is based on technical level, not solely on age.

Dancers participating in our Winter Intensive will showcase their talents in an intimate studio performance held in the heart of Amsterdam.

Unfortunately, AÉBI does not offer housing.
Participants must find their own accommodation in Amsterdam. We are here to assist if needed!
