Terms & Conditions
1. Applicability
These Terms and Conditions apply to all registrations, participation, and associated services provided by ArtéBallét Intensive (“AEBI”), registered in the Netherlands. By submitting an application, the participant or their legal guardian confirms full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Registration & Payment
Registration is considered confirmed only after full payment of the applicable fees, including any selected add-ons.
Advanced / Pre-Professional Program
Requires a mandatory non-refundable audition fee of €35.00, payable upon submission of the audition application.
This audition fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including rejection.
The 14-day goodwill withdrawal period (as described in Article 3) will only commence once the applicant has been formally accepted into the program.
Intermediate Program
No audition is required.
Requires a mandatory non-refundable deposit of €100.00, of which €70.00 will be credited toward the remaining tuition balance.
The 14-day goodwill withdrawal period (as described in Article 3) will begin immediately upon submission of the registration form.
For All Programs
These registration fees (audition fee or deposit) are required for processing your application and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
All payments must be received within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Optional add-ons, such as private coaching or professional photoshoots, must be paid in advance to secure the reservation.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe B.V. and are subject to their payment terms and conditions.
3. Cancellation & Credit Policy
AEBI is a cultural leisure activity program and is therefore exempt from the statutory EU right of withdrawal under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code. As a gesture of goodwill, AEBI voluntarily offers a 14-day withdrawal period for all applicants.
Intermediate Program: The 14-day goodwill withdrawal period begins immediately upon submission of the registration form.
Advanced / Pre-Professional Program: The 14-day goodwill withdrawal period will only begin once the applicant has been formally accepted into the program.
If an applicant to the Advanced / Pre-Professional Program is not accepted, they will automatically be offered a place in the Intermediate Program. If the applicant does not wish to participate in the Intermediate Program, they must notify AEBI in writing before their original 14-day withdrawal period expires. The withdrawal period does not restart upon reassignment to the Intermediate Program. If no such notification is received within this period, participation in the Intermediate Program becomes binding, and the applicable tuition fee remains payable in full.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, AEBI will issue a non-transferable credit voucher equal to the paid amount (excluding the audition fee or deposit), which can be used toward a future AEBI program within 12 months of the credit issue date.
Credits are only granted if cancellation is submitted in writing before the program start date via info@arteballetintensive.com.
Credits hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for alternative services.
After the 14-day goodwill withdrawal period, your enrollment becomes binding. The full tuition fee remains payable in full, regardless of attendance, cancellation, or withdrawal, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the organization.
Payment must be completed within thirty (30) days of enrollment or prior to the start of the program, whichever comes first.
No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, personal matters, or travel disruptions, after the 14-day goodwill withdrawal period has passed.
Exception for Pre-Enrollment (Summer 2026 Program): For 2025 participants who pre-enroll in the Summer 2026 program, an extended withdrawal period of two (2) months applies, beginning July 21, 2025.
4. Program Changes or Cancellation by AEBI
AEBI reserves the right to make changes to the program's content, faculty, schedule, time slots, or physical location when reasonably necessary due to logistical, artistic, or operational reasons.
Such changes do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation or refund. By enrolling, participants accept the inherent flexibility required in international dance programs.
In case of cancellation due to force majeure (such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, or governmental restrictions), participants will receive a credit voucher in line with Article 3.
In the unlikely event of full cancellation by AEBI for internal reasons (excluding force majeure), all payments excluding the audition fee or deposit will be refunded in full.
5. Limitation of Liability
Participation is at the participant’s own risk. AEBI is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, medical expense, travel disruption, property damage, theft, or loss incurred during or in connection with the program.
AEBI strongly advises all participants to obtain comprehensive travel, medical, and personal liability insurance prior to attending the program.
AEBI is not liable for third-party service providers, including but not limited to transportation, accommodation, or visa processes.
6. Use of Image, Video & Likeness
By participating in AEBI, the participant (or their legal guardian if under 16) grants AEBI the irrevocable right to capture and use their likeness via photo and video for promotional, educational, and archival purposes, including but not limited to:
AEBI’s website, social media, printed brochures, and advertisements.
This includes materials taken during rehearsals, classes, photoshoots, performances, and related activities.
If a participant objects to the use of their likeness, they must notify AEBI in writing prior to the program’s start date.
Participants waive any right to compensation, royalties, or claims for damages arising from such lawful use.
7. Health, Safety & Code of Conduct
Participants must disclose any medical conditions or injuries upon registration.
The use or possession of alcohol, illicit substances, or mind-altering drugs is strictly forbidden during the program.
Participants may not attend class, rehearsal, or coaching under the influence of any such substances.
AEBI maintains a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of discrimination, racism, harassment, bullying, or exclusionary behavior.
AEBI works with a diverse and sometimes vulnerable population and strives to maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment at all times.
Any participant found to have violated this Code of Conduct may be immediately dismissed from the program without refund or credit, at the sole discretion of AEBI.
8. Personal Property
AEBI does not accept responsibility for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the program by participants.
Participants are responsible for safeguarding their own belongings at all times.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes arising from participation in AEBI will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
