Why Dancers Choose ArtéBallét

Elite Faculty.
Artistic Leadership.
Warm Atmosphere.

Train under principal artists and distinguished mentors whose guidance has shaped dancers worldwide. Their precise, intentional coaching is now open to intermediate and dedicated recreational dancers, offering the same clarity as professional training.

Curated Boutique Training.
Personal Attention.
Accelerated Progress.

Starting in 2026, our summer program will work with exceptionally small groups to ensure every correction is personal, specific, and truly transformative. No overcrowded classes and no rushed combinations: only precision, depth, and the individualized coaching serious dancers rarely experience in European summer ballet intensives.

Private Coaching.
Ballet Photoshoots.
Theater Performance.

Refine your artistry through personalized one-on-one coaching sessions, capture stunning photo-ready portfolio material in our professional photoshoots, and step onto a real theater stage to perform classical and contemporary repertoire of leading choreographers.

Set in the cultural centre of Amsterdam, ArtéBallét opens its doors to intermediate vocational students and dedicated recreational dancers ages 12 to 70 who want to refine their technique, reconnect with their love for ballet, and train in a genuinely supportive environment.

Imagine this moment: the piano begins to play. You step into the studio, sunlight touches the floor, and your teacher smiles, because they already know your name. For many dancers, this is the moment ArtéBallét becomes home.

ArtéBallét Intensive is Europe’s ultra-exclusive boutique ballet program where dancers of all ages grow through world-class training, personal guidance, and an atmosphere that feels warm, safe, and inspiring. You are not one face in a large class. You are seen, supported, and coached with the kind of intention serious dancers rarely experience in European summer ballet intensives.

Learn from principal dancers, artistic directors, ballet masters, and renowned teachers from Dutch National Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theatre, Prix de Lausanne, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Royal Ballet School, the Vaganova Academy, and more, all brought together in an environment designed for your growth. A variety of classes will be accompanied by live music, creating a refined and immersive space that supports your artistry.

Your training includes ballet technique, pointe or male technique, classical variations and repertoire, contemporary and jazz technique and repertoire, technical masterclasses, and sessions on nutrition and wellbeing.

What dancers treasure most is our atmosphere: sincere attention, meaningful guidance, and a community that celebrates who you are and who you’re becoming.

You may personalise your experience with private coaching or a professional ballet photoshoot for auditions and portfolios. Your journey concludes with an intimate theater presentation, a moment to share your artistry with pride.

No audition needed.

Just your love for dance. Every age is welcome.

As of summer 2026, enrollment is extremely limited: only 10–14 places are available per level. Early registration is strongly advised.

  • Train directly under artists from the world’s leading institutions, including the Prix de Lausanne, Dutch National Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theatre, the Mariinsky Theater, the Royal Ballet School, Vaganova Academy, Hungarian National Ballet, and Ballett Dortmund. • Please refer to our Tuition and Fees Page.

  • No, audition is not required for the Intermediate Program.

  • Dancers aged 12 and older are welcome to join AÉBI.

Placement is based on technical level, not solely on age. We’ve welcomed dancers of all ages from 12 - 67 years old.

  • We welcome intermediate vocational students as well as intermediate recreational dancers. For participation in our intermediate program, a minimum of three years of ballet experience is required.

Placement is also determined based on the amount of years of experience to ensure dancers are grouped appropriately.

  • Our summer program is deliberately limited to 10–13, and occasionally 14, dancers to preserve a boutique environment that fosters personal attention, individualized corrections, and substantive artistic growth. Registration closes as soon as a cohort reaches capacity.

Group sizes at ArtéBallét Intensive are intentionally small to ensure tailored instruction and optimal learning conditions. We admit carefully curated groups; depending on the final balance of participants and level distribution, group sizes may vary slightly.

  • If you wish to take part in our theater performance, enrollment in our two-week program is required.

  • The following works will be presented during the theater performance:

    • Classical variations and repertoire

    • Contemporary repertoire

    • Modern jazz repertoire

Participation in the theater performance is not required.

  • In the Intermediate Program, pointe is optional and only included in designated classes.

Faculty reserves the right to advise against pointe use if it’s deemed unsafe or not appropriate for a dancer’s development.

  • Yes. ArtéBallét typically fills up earlier than expected, especially for the full two–week Signature Experience. If you’re considering joining, we recommend securing your place sooner rather than later.

A late registration often means dancers are placed on the waitlist.

  • AÉBI does not offer housing.

Participants must find their own accommodation in Amsterdam. We are here to assist if needed!

  • Tuition includes the following:

    • All daily ballet and supplementary classes

    • Live musical accompaniment

    • Masterclasses and workshops

    • Fresh herbal tea and water provision

  • Upon registration, you will receive an official enrollment link and tuition invoice in a few days.

Your place is secured once payment is received. Spaces are limited and may fill quickly, so prompt registration is advised.

  • You can pay the program fees either in full or in two or three installments. After registering, you will receive detailed instructions on how to proceed with the payment plan.
