Set in the heart of one of Europe’s most inspiring cultural capitals, the ArtéBallét Intensive (AÉBI) welcomes intermediate-level vocational students and committed recreational dancers aged 12 to 70 for a four-day winter program unlike any other.

Featuring stars of Dutch National Ballet, distinguished Prix de Lausanne faculty, and celebrated international guest artists, this exclusive program offers dancers a rare chance to refine their technique and artistry under the guidance of one of the most inspiring figures in ballet today.
Every aspect of the intensive is carefully curated to provide a concentrated focus on high-quality ballet training, classical variations and repertoire, contemporary technique, and contemporary repertoire. With the elegance of live music enriching nearly every class, you will be immersed in a rich, inspiring atmosphere where discipline meets artistry. The program concludes with an intimate studio performance, allowing you to share your growth and artistry in a refined setting that reflects the boutique character of the intensive.

Application Guidelines
We are delighted to welcome you to the ArtéBallét Intensive (AÉBI). While an audition for our intermediate program is not required, we kindly ask that you follow our headshot guidelines to ensure your application materials meet our requirements.

Submit a clear, recent headshot.
Ensure the image is well-lit, sharply focused, and taken from the front.
Photo Quality
Submit high-quality, color images with a plain, uncluttered background.
Avoid backlighting or shadows that obscure your form.
All photos must be submitted in .jpg or .png format.
Please include your full name in the filename of each photo (e.g., Isabella_Tendu.jpg).

No, audition is not required for the Intermediate Program.

Dancers aged 12 and older are welcome to join AÉBI.
Placement is based on technical level, not solely on age. We’ve welcomed dancers of all ages from 12 - 67 years old.

We warmly welcome intermediate vocational students as well as dedicated recreational dancers to join our program. Dancers should have a basic understanding of ballet technique and terminology, supported by at least three years of intermediate-level training.
Participants are expected to be able to follow an intermediate class independently.
Placement is thoughtfully determined based on each dancer’s experience to ensure everyone feels both supported and appropriately challenged.

AÉBI does not offer housing.
Participants must find their own accommodation in Amsterdam. We are here to assist if needed!
