Viktor Shcherbakov is an acclaimed ballet master, choreographer, and former international principal dancer whose career bridges the revered classical tradition and contemporary excellence. With over two decades of stage experience and an unwavering devotion to ballet, he brings extraordinary depth, musicality, and mentorship to every studio he enters.

Born in Kyiv on April 29, 1981, Viktor began his formal ballet training at the Kyiv Choreographic School at ten. At just fourteen, he received the Audience Choice Award at the prestigious Serge Lifar International Ballet Competition. This recognition led to an invitation to train at the renowned John Cranko School in Stuttgart under the legendary pedagogue Peter Pestov, an honor extended to only a few dancers of his generation.

Upon graduation, Viktor was invited to join the Stuttgart State Theater Ballet. However, his artistic journey led him back to Ukraine, where he rose to prominence as a principal dancer at the National Opera of Ukraine. His commanding presence and lyrical technique earned him acclaim in leading roles across the grand classical repertoire, including Giselle, La Sylphide, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, Legend of Love, and Paquita.

Viktor later joined the Moscow Ballet as principal guest artist, captivating audiences across the United States during its celebrated Great Russian Nutcracker tours, where he danced opposite stars such as Olga Kifyak.

As a choreographer, he has created original works for the Lviv Opera Ballet and served as a ballet master across various Ukrainian companies. He is a sought-after coach and adjudicator at international competitions, recognized for his eye for detail and deeply rooted understanding of classical structure.
